Edward, The Key System was sold in 1946 to National City Lines who shortly thereafter replaced all the street cars with busses. The Key System trains to San Francisco continued to run until 1958 when they were replaced by buses. I am not familiar with the line to East Oakland as I mainly rode the C line to Piedmont or the Claremont Ave. Line.
