At the San Francisco Library there will be the following movie: 16 APRIL, SATURDAY A Second Final Rest: The History of San Francisco's Lost Cemeteries - This documentary tells the hidden history of how San Francisco managed to systematically relocate nearly all of its burial grounds in the 20th century to make room for the expanding city and its growing population. The film includes recollections of residents who remember these forgotten graveyards as well as contemporary conflicts that pit the living against the dead. Filmmaker Trina Lopez will be present for a Q and A session after the film.
