A death certificate would give dates of birth and death, address, how long in the country, cause of death, name of funeral home, where buried and other info. I will send a request for copies of obits if they are available from the Oakland library. Hopefully if there are any, they will give married names and places of the daughters. I thought I had found possible matches for California deaths, but the mothers name was wrong. I'm assuming the daughters stayed in the area, but they could have moved out of the state and passed away. Let me try a couple more things to see if I can find them. Carol California
