Maxwell b. 1847, MS, married Helen E. Royall b. abt 1850 VA, had two children when they moved to bay area John Royal Maxwell, b. 29, May 1873, TN Married Alice (Lillian) Elizabeth Walker b. Aug. 1881, NV. John R. died 02 Feb 1951, wife Alice remarried and did 25, May 1939, both died in Los Angeles, CA. I am not sure when John H. or his wife Helen died, only know they were in the bay area when son John R. lost his arm riding the trains. I was only told he was between 10 and 13 years old when the accident happened. John R. and Alice (Lillian) Maxwell had four sons born between 1900 and 1915 in Alameda County.
