She passed away in Hayward, Ca. on Wednesday, march 28th, at the age of 81. Preceded in death by her husband Albert and son Stephen. She is survived by son, Ernest Hogue and daughter-in-law Kathy Hogue, three Grandchildren, Jeff Hogue, Ernest Hogue II and Melissa Dutrow. Six great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Christopher, Ashley, David, Kalyn and Eric. Velma lived in Hayward for 50 plus yrs. She enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family. She will be laid to rest in Oklahoma, where she was born. Visitation will be at Sorensen Bros. Saturday, March 31st from 2-5pm. Funeral Service, Sunday, April 1st at 11am at Sorensen Bros.
