Her mothers name is listed as Joan -close. Do you by any chance have acces to marriage records as far back as 1940. Her mom and dad were married in CA (at least I think they were) and if I could find a record for Ernest Johnson and Joan [Richardson] then I would know I was on the right track. They don't show up in the Nevada marriage records for LasVegas, they didn't go back to Iowa so CA is almost a sure thing for their marriage.
