They lived in Oakland, CA. and had children James Luther Allen b.(1895) Vernon Allen (1898), Delmar Allen (abt. 1902), Mary Allen Giddens(1906), Eugene Allen (abt. 1909), & Fred L. Allen(1910). Mary was born in Alabama in 1906, grew up in Oakland, California and died in Mesa, Arizona in 1983. She probably met husband, Ray Giddens, in California as he was born there in 1902 and died in Mesa, Arizona in 1982. I've also found an obit for James Luther Allen showing his wife as Ellen and they lived in Walnut Creek, CA. I believe that Delmer married a lady named Helen and Fred, I think, was killed in WWII. I would love to make contact with descendants of these families. If anything sounds familiar, please contact me.
