Based upon my belief that she died in Oakdale, he somehow did a search on cemetery records and found a May B. Wesselhoft buried at Oakdale Citizens Cemetery. With that as a possibility, he went to CA Vital Record Index and determined that her birth date was about right. I then posted a message on the Stanislaus website and another researcher posted May's obit. Although the obit was inconclusive, I requested a death certificate. On it, it states that May's maiden name was Head. It doesn't include her parents names, but I have requested the birth record and hope that it includes her father's name (as I already know her mother was Fanny Louise Donaldson.) Thus, I am 99.99% certain that May Wesselhoft was May (Head) Noland!!
