Lundgren March 22, 1911 Dec. 2, 1997 Harold Lundgren, a retired research chemist with the U.S. Department of Agriculture and a retired UC-Davis professor, died Tuesday in Berkeley. He was 86. The native of Argyle, Minn., lived in Kensington for 48 years. He was a member of Arlington Community Church in Kensington, Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences and numerous textile groups. He won many awards for research in textile chemistry. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Eva F. Lundgren of Kensington; sons, John T. Lundgren of Malibu and William H. Lundgren of San Jose; and one grandchild. Services: Memorial, 4 p.m. Jan. 11 at Arlington Community Church. Inurnment will be private at Sunset View Cemetery in El Cerrito.
