She and her twin brother, Clyde, were born on July 14, 1932 to Leah and Clyde Mann. She was raised and educated in Oakland, where she also became a baptized Christian. In Sept. 1956, Margaret married Jimmie Crumpley, and they were blessed with two children, Jimmie Andrew and Cathleen Velma, who joined Sandra, a daughter from a previos (sic) marriage. Margaret enjoyed many activities, but her favorite was spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. I thought Mt View is in Santa Clara County? That's what the city website lists http://www.ci.mtnview.ca.us/ Am I mistaken? Cypress Lawn is in Colma/Daly City though and that is San Mateo Co. I found some people in the 1921 Oakland City Directory and I'd like to find them on the 1920 census. When the 1920 census came up on Ancestry.com, they noted that there were some parts of Alameda County that were not yet available. Having the city directory pages at hand, I've tried to find the people listed, and a few of them can be found, but most (including the ones I'm looking for) can't be found by the search engine. Is anyone on this list familiar with the 1920 census of Alameda County and what parts of the city might be 'lost' or otherwise unavailable to (and thus not indexed by) Ancestry. com? There are three persons with surname Ansel living at 508 18th Street in 1921: Harold J., J.C., and Vivian F. There is an Anna Elliot living at 516 18th Street. In 1875 he was the sponsor for my gruncle Broder Nahnsen in Clinton Iowa. His sister Brigetta Nahnsen died in Greene County Iowa in 1885 after having 9 children for my grgrandfather Claus Nahnsen. He also had other brothers, August, Lorenz and N. Herman Namanny. He was on the 1910 census but not on the 1920 census. Any help would be appreciated.
