    3. Thank you so much, Jennifer, for your offer to do some Alameda county research for me. I'm trying to put together one WHITTINGTON family who lived in Fremont. 1. If there is a city directory for Fremont, when was Mrs. Evelyn McLaury WHITTINGTON first listed prior to 1967? Her husband might have been Fred. 2. Kimberly WHITTINGTON married Richard D. WHITE on 13 June 1981 in Alameda. Names of her parents are needed. Date of birth of Kimberly needed. Location of birth of Kimberly needed if available. Names of the witnesses needed. 3. Helen K.(?) WHITTINGTON married Thomas A. JUDD on 13 Nov 1967 in Alameda City. Names of her parents are needed. Date of birth of Helen needed. Location of birth of Helen needed if available. Names of the witnesses needed. Helen and Thomas were divorced in Nov. 1974 in Alameda, but Thomas was divorced again 8 years later (28 Apr 1982) when married to Mary Lou Judd. Is this the same Thomas A. Judd who divorced Helen Whittington Judd earlier? Please let me know the cost incurred for you to do this work. 3. I've "rescued" an old photograph of Roy TELFAIR which was taken at the W. J. Millman Studio in Richland Center, WI. The photograph appears to have been taken in the early 1900's with Roy likely in his 30's or 40's at the time. In addition to his name, someone has written "deceased" and "Cousin of Papa's" on the back of the photograph. Based on limited research I was able to locate the following information regarding Roy and his family: Robert LeRoy "Roy" TELFAIR Jr. was b. 13 Aug 1877 in Buena Vista, WI to parents Dr. Robert LeRoy TELFAIR (b. 1832) and Theresa or Therisa Clarissa DEXTER (1835-1915). Roy was one of 3 children born to this couple including, Brunson or Brownson or Bronson A.; Frank A.; and Robert LeRoy TELFAIR, all born between 1855 and 1877. Roy married Dorthea HOLST (1879-1965) on 4 Oct 1915 in Minneapolis, MN and they had a son Robert LeRoy TELFAIR (1920-1966). Roy died 17 Jan 1964 in San Leandro, CA Census records provide the following details: 1880 census of Buena Vista, WI: R. L. TELFAIR, age 48, a Physician, born NY, parents born Scotland/VT T. C. TELFAIR, wife, age 45, Keeping House, born NY, parents born NY F. A. TELFAIR, son, age 20, a Student, born WI R. L. TELFAIR Jr., son, age 2, born WI 1900 census of Buena Vista, WI: Therasa TELFAIR, age 55, born Feb 1835, a widow, 3 children/2 living, born NY, parents born NY Robert L. TELFAIR, son, age 22, born Aug 1877, born WI, parents born NY, Clerks In Hardware Store I am hoping to locate someone from this TELFAIR Family so that this wonderful old treasure can be returned to the care of his family. If you are a member of this family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley

    3. Sorry. That was not supposed to any list. I don't know how CAALAMED got in the address. Now I have to copy that and send it where it is supposed to go. List Subject: [CAALAMED] Picture Hi Lyssie, Thanks for the picture - at least I think you are the one who sent it to me. At first I thought it was a picture that I have seen and several people have a copy of it. It appeared in the newspaper at one time. This is a different picture. It is not all family. The handwriting on the back seems to be your mother's. I am trying to figure out who all the people are. Anyway Thanks for sending it. We are going to Tommy's daughter's wedding on Saturday January 23. Kitty and Walt are going to drive us to Fort Myers. It will just be a quick trip. Walt wants to be back to go to work on Monday. I think that is a 12 or more hour drive. Kitty says he doesn't mind driving. Thank goodness for him. He does so much for Elly and myself. In Sept. Elly fell and bruised his ribs so on the week-end Walt came out and cut the grass for Elly. It takes about 6 hours to cut the front 12 acres. Neither Tommy nor Ricky have shown any interest in driving the tractor. Now that Elly is 80 he may not be able to keep that up. They will have to find someone to keep up the property for them. They will have to pay him too. I am sure they would pay Elly if he asked for payment. We keep track of the supplies and extra labor and bill them every so often which they pay without any questions. Elly didn't mind doing it for Ruth, but after she died we were sort of caught in a situation that we didn't know how to get out of. Oh well. It keeps Elly active anyway.
