    3. The study is not and was not designed to give any feedback to the participants !!!! All the activities and functions of the BYU Center for Molecular Genealogy has moved from the BYU campus in Provo, Utah, to the Sorenson Molecular Genealogy Foundation facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. www.smgf.org Although the intent and goals of the Molecular Genealogy Research Project remain unchanged, the operations associated with the collection and analysis of DNA samples and genealogical records will be conducted by the Foundation who will be the primary sponsor of the project They have the following for an FAQ Will I receive any personal feedback from participating in the MGRP? Not at this time. Federal regulations require research studies to be anonymous and that the privacy of the participants be protected. For these reasons, each sample is coded and no personal identifiers of individuals born within the last 100 years are used in building the database. No personal genetic or genealogical information used in this study that might jeopardize the privacy of those that have participated in it will be released to anyone, including the participants in the study.
