ROOT CELLAR's Spring Seminar, featuring Barbara Renick, is on Saturday, April 12 at Woodcreek High School in Roseville. Barbara Renick has 30 years of research experience tracing her own family tree in the challenging areas of Eastern Europe and the hills of Tennessee. She has taught genealogical computing classes since 1985, and presented lectures, seminars, workshops, and computer labs at regional conferences since 1983 and at national conferences since 1994. She is well known for explaining technical material in easy-to-understand language. Barbara is a member of the Genealogical Speakers Guild and the Association of Professional Genealogists. She also serves as a genealogical computing instructor at the LDS Regional Family History Center in Orange, California. She writes for several genealogy publications and co-authored The Internet for Genealogists: A Beginner's Guide.
