Join us this Wednesday night, October 8, as ROOT CELLAR – Sacramento Genealogical Society celebrates its 25th Anniversary. ROOT CELLAR was founded in 1978 in response to the need of local genealogical researchers to have a group that met in the evening. ROOT CELLAR has a long history of providing instructional workshops, outstanding speakers and seminars, and for its many extraction and indexing projects that have resulted in multiple publications over the years. At the celebration, Glenda Lloyd will speak on the “Changes in Genealogical Research Over the Last 25 Years” starting at 6:30 pm at Citrus Heights Elementary School, located near the corner of Auburn Blvd. and Old Auburn Road (Sylvan Corners). The talk will be followed by a brief ceremony and refreshments. Please come join in the celebration.
