The Society hosts this study group program (an informal round table discussion on genealogical problem solving), from 10am to noon, in the Placer County Library's Beecher Room, 350 Nevada Street, Auburn, on the second Monday of each month. This month, Donna Young will lead a discussion on conducting research using the Periodical Source Index (PERSI). This index can be found on Ancestry.com. Those attending will learn how to search for articles that may be written in periodicals about their ancestors. The meeting is open to the public at no cost.
