Jackman Thursday 9 am -12 pm Class begins 9 September 2004 Week One: Project Definition/Elements of a Report Week Two: Evidence Evaluation Standards Week Three: Genealogical Proof Standard Week Four: Proof Summaries/Limited Project Client Report Week Five: Abstracts/Extracts/Summaries/Transcriptions Week Six: Nutshells or Snapshots/Quotations Week Seven: Review and Pesentation of Reports Learn how to define and execute a research project Learn how to prove a relationship when a primary source is unavailable Learn how to create a thorough report using Genealogical Standards Includes Internet Research The last half of each class is spent online using Internet sources and working on reports Come Away with a Finished Project!
