The meeting is free and open to the public. Casey Haas will present this month’s program on the subject: "German Research." The Placer County Genealogical Society has a membership of approximately 200 individuals and families that have genealogical interests. The group holds a general meeting at the Auburn library site on the fourth Thursday of each month from 7-9PM, and features a program speaker on various genealogical subjects. The group also offers two specialty day groups. One that studies various topics of member interest, which meets at the library on the each month except July, August and December. The other, the Family Tree Maker User Group, reviews genealogy computer program subjects, on the second Thursday of the month, at the Latter Day Saints Church, 1255 Bell Road, in Auburn.
