Just a reminder Tomorrow is the meeting on DNA A MEETING OF INTEREST FOR GENEALOGISTS DATE: Saturday, November 19, 2005 TIME: 1PM - 2:30PM Belle Cooledge Library 5600 South Land Park Drive Sacramento, CA TOPIC: INTRODUCTION TO GENETIC GENEALOGY Please join us and learn about DNA as a wonderful tool for advancing and/or confirming your traditional research. DNA testing is fast becoming the most useful research technique for genealogists. Learn in a low tech presentation how it is done and what you can gain from the results. Hear about some "success stories". Many researchers have broken through those "brick walls" using DNA testing. Those just starting their research can avoid false leads. I am Nancy Davenport, the Nor-Cal "coordinator" for ISOGG and am writing to alert you to a meeting on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2005. the meeting will be at: Belle Cooledge Library 5600 South Land Park Drive Sacramento, CA the meeting will start at 2:30 end about 4PM. However, the attached flyer was sent to 32 genealogy organizations announcing a meeting for genealogists interested in learning about DNA testing. This will be immediately before our meeting and you are welcome to attend. This will be an opportunity for all of us to network and meet other DNA project administrators. Of special interest for those who will not be attending the FTDNA conference in Washington D.C. you can get the news from those of us who have.
