My sister in law wrote me today about getting that genealogy program that I can't recall the name of, but you can download it for free and use it to input your pedigree into it?? Does anyone know what I am talking about?? It's like FTM just free. >>Thanks, Roni
Roni, There are more than one genealogy program that is currently "free". Two of these that come to mind are: PAF available at the LDS site http://www.familysearch.org and Legacy available at http://www.legacy.com These are not shareware where you download, try and then pay if you like the program. These are truly "free". Legacy wants you to like the program and upgrade to their "Plus" version or whatever they call it. Of course both of these programs are not like FTM but they are free. None of the programs are identical but they do allow you to enter information and print it out in different forms and trees. But the free download of the Legacy software is at www.legacyfamilytree.com Barbara
