I have just finished reading a phamphlet Joyce House loaned me, "Numbering Your Genealogy" by Curran, Crane & Wray. On the back cover they list model genealogies under the suggested reading. I have tried to find one of their models by searching on the web, no luck. Can anyone help me find the Sosa-Stradonitz (Ahnentafel) genealogy they recommended?. Mills, Elizabeth Shown. "(De) Mezieres-Trichel-Grappe: A Study of Tri-caste Lineages in the Old South," The Genealogist 6 (Spring 1985): 3-84. What is "The Genealogist", is it still being published?
Bobette, You can find some information on the Sosa-Stradonitz (Ahnentafel) at: http://www.genealogy.org/~st-clair/numbers/numahn.html It is probably everything you are looking for but it's a start. Bobette, "The Genealogist" is a periodical -- one of the "scholarly journals" -- edited by Charles Hansen, FASG, and Gale Ion Harris, PhD, FASG. It is currently being published by the American Society of Genealogists, although I think the ASG acquired it fairly recently. You might check PERSI to see if a copy of the article is available from the Allen County Public Library.
