    3. Visiting the local museums is a great idea, especially with the free admission. For more info, the museum web site address is www.placer.ca.gov/museum Museums are open weekends and the three museums located in Auburn have week day hours. If you haven't taken the opportunity to visit the Bernhard Museum, now is the time. This museum is a residence furnished to reflects the life of a 19th century farm family. It is fun to see. If you visit the Placer County Museum, located on the first floor of the historic Placer County Courthouse, drop by and see me.
