My uncle, Jack Ramon Billings (July 7, 1925 - June 6, 1944), from St. Thomas, Ontario, died at Normandy Beach when he was 19. His parents moved to Michigan in 1928, so he served with the U.S. forces in WWII. Of course, I never met him, but from pictures I've seen, my son could be his twin.
