Planche, born 1895, served WW 1, died 1960 These ancestors all came from Cookshire, Quebec, and left their homes to serve for our country. Norman left his job in Vancouver, BC, Henry left his job as doctor in the tiny community of Rock Bay, BC, Clifford came from Calgary, Alberta, and Lancelot and Gordon came from Cookshire, Quebec, to answer the call ... "We will remember them"....

Angus Neil TUTTON, Private, 1st Canadian Infantry Battalion, Western Ont. Regiment CEF, age 21 yrs, father Neil Bruce TUTTON, mother Edith Alberta Phillipa WOOD TUTTON, all born in Port Hope, Ont. area, residence Oshawa, Ont.; Killed in Action September 26, 1918, near Cagnicourt, France. Edward Garfield "Ted" WILBUR, Private, Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry (Eastern Ontario Regiment), age 21 yrs, Henry Bedford WILBUR, father, Ruby Ann TUNKEY WILBUR, mother, all of Pickering area; Killed in action Sept. 15, 1915, buried at Vimy Ridge, France.
