I don't have many specific answers to your questions, but one excellent place to look for sources of obituaries (not the actual obituaries) in Canada and the United States is The Obituary Daily Times at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~obituary/ There are no references to the people you mention but most obituaries for those who died in Coboconk seem to have been published in the Toronto Star - Toronto Star - Toronto ON A few others were in the Lindsay D P - Lindsay Daily Post - Lindsay ON I suggest that your best bet would be to contact the Toronto Star directly because I doubt that the obituaries you seek would be archived on line. Another good site for sources of Ontario obits (not the actual obituaries) is the CAN-ONT-OBITS archives at: http://listsearches.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/listsearch.pl?list=CAN-ONT-OBITS To find burials in Ontario Cemeteries, the Ontario Cemetery Finding Aid (OCFA) is an excellent source at: http://www.islandnet.com/ocfa/ A search of that site yields: CHITTENDEN, Clarence D., Cemetery: Mount Hope, Brantford County: Brant Township: Brantford With any luck, someone on the CA-ONT-CEMETERIES list will have the transcripts for Mount Hope, Brantford and will check them for you. If not, transcripts of the OCFA listings can be obtained from the branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society (OGS) that made the transcriptions-in this case: Brant County branch, OGS P.O. Box 23030 Brantford, Ontario, N3T 6K4 Canada Celina May Chittenden doesn't seem to be listed in the OCFA and I see no obvious references to the Cooke family you have mentioned either.
