At Bill Martin's site http://my.tbaytel.net/bmartin/index2.htm, you will find very helpful information and instructions on obtaining copies of BMD registrations. Have a look around his site - great info. There are microfilms with early death registrations 1869-1931 that can be borrowed through Inter Library Loan from the Archives of Ontario site http://www.archives.gov.on.ca/english/index.html. Click on Genealogy Research and follow the links. Some local Family History Centres have the index films which would cut out one step in the process.
