    3. Hello Muriel, The OCFA http://www.islandnet.com/ocfa/ lists the following: Surname / Given Name / Cemetery / County / Township / Reference POST / Charlotte {Lottie} Edna / Belleville, Mausoleum / Hastings / Sidney / Q-H1172 POST / Donald K. / Fox, Eldorado / Hastings / Madoc / Q-H1127 POST / Donald Miles / Wellington Village / Prince Edward / Hillier / Q-P1031 If some kind soul (hint, hint) on CA-ONT-CEMETERIES-L has transcriptions for these, it would probably give you something to work with. From there, I would try to obtain death certificates which could provide names of parents. Death certificates often include names of death informants who would likely be spouses or younger family members. I hope this helps. Hi, I'm do not know the date of her death. I do know that she was married to Donald POST. They also had a son named Donald. I have heard that they had lived in St. Thomas, Ont., Canada. I believe she was born about 1878 in England. She had brothers Richard and Archibald. I have heard differnt stories about the children. One: that the family came over from England together. Two: that the children were orphaned and sent over. To relatives??? Three: they were orphaned? and then sent over as , shoot, I've lost the name, Home children?? Sorry about that. I hope someone can help as I'm trying to find their parents. Thanks for any help. Muriel

    3. Hi Muriel, To follow up a bit on Allan's info.... You can find 'a' Donald K POST at: http://www.elginogs.ca/elgincemeteries.htm Look under Madoc Twp Cemeteries > Eldorado Cemetery. I suspect from the dates he is the son. I did not see listings for Fox Cemetery. This site does not have the full tombstone transcript but does have the date and spouse, which you could then look up. Also, you if you think there is a possibility that they lived in St. Thomas you could try http://www.elginogs.ca/elgincemeteries.htm where they have their transcribed tombstones on line. Good luck in your search ...Pat Living in the Past Lane ----- Original Message ----- From: "Allan B Currie" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, February 18, 2004 5:01 PM Subject: RE: [ONT-Cemeteries] Obituary for Charlotte/Lottie Brown Post. > Hello Muriel, > > The OCFA http://www.islandnet.com/ocfa/ lists the following: > > Surname / Given Name / Cemetery / County / Township / Reference > > POST / Charlotte {Lottie} Edna / Belleville, Mausoleum / Hastings / > Sidney / Q-H1172 > POST / Donald K. / Fox, Eldorado / Hastings / Madoc / Q-H1127 > POST / Donald Miles / Wellington Village / Prince Edward / Hillier > / Q-P1031 > > If some kind soul (hint, hint) on CA-ONT-CEMETERIES-L has transcriptions for > these, it would probably give you something to work with. > > From there, I would try to obtain death certificates which could provide > names of parents.
