The OVS requires more information than you are requesting. Death registrations up to 1931 are being accepted (per Archives release). There are a few more recent ones and we are trying to weed them out. Placement of the death could be done simple. Surname, Name, date of Death, where the person died and the e-mail of the person they should contact for information.
