Dear Lois, When you can, weather permitting, I would indeed appreciate any photos you can get, especially for MARGARET, HUGH and CAROLINE LaPORTE. Caroline and Hugh were the children of Margaret. To date I have no record if or who they may have married and do not have the given name of their father although it would seem that he should be interned with or near his wife Margaret. At this time I do not know of anyone living in that area who may have any records for this part of the family. Should you find my family there, could you please send me the mailing address of the cemeteries in that area. Will no doubt need that information in the future. The LaPorte and Quinn families lived in Morrisburg, Dundas County and Prescott, Grenville County. Then many moved to Oswego, Syracuse and Norwich, New York.
