Hi Everyone, What an interesting discussion! Another good reason to stop at the cemetery office is that the person you're searching for may be buried there but not have a headstone. This happened to me a few years ago and the cemetery office folks not only let us look at the records but drove us out to the unmarked grave sites. We'd never have found them except for the kindness of the office staff! Sue Edminster
