As for photos one would need to wait until the snow melted in the spring, right now the windchill is -22C, a liitle chilly for taking photos. As for who was the first buried I cannot answer that question. >Is anyone close to there that could take a digital photo of a headstone >for me? > > >Thanks, >Patti > > -- Bob === Robert Neil Chatham-Kent, ON rneil@sympatico.ca

    3. Hi Bob, Thanks for the reply, I agree on the cold. It is like that here too. I was thinking sometime in the spring when it warmed up and dried out again. I am looking to try and get a good digital photo of Thomas and Mary Gill's headstone. I had taken one when I was there from Wisconsin but the lighting was way too bad. It was almost dark and it did not turn out. They are at the very top of the hill overlooking the lake. It looks like that is the oldest part of the cemetery. And I stand corrected on the Blenheim. I don't know why I keep thinking it is Raleigh. 3. Quite often in the front of a transcript there is history on the cemetery (who donated the land, how much, quite often the earliest burial, and others which pre-date the cemetery (moved from other location)). The local OGS may have some information on the cemeteries.
