Hello all! Hoping everyone's doing fine. This email is being sent to compile data for a summarized page of volunteers and what cemeteries they are willing to help inquirers with. If you have the time or resources, please volunteer to assist! We all love you for it! If you have more to offer than what is being asked, please send along a detailed note and we'll add it to the 'willing to do lookups' pages - always stating County & Township to make the searches easier. Please answer the questions in a clear and concise manner... and in the exact format in which it stands. This will make it easier for us to get the data on the site... and quicker. Send responses to Jan ([email protected]) and she'll send them batched, to Sheila. COUNTY - TOWNSHIP - CEMETERY - ACCESS TO TRANSCRIPTIONS (Y/N) WILLING TO TAKE PHOTOS (Y/N) WILLING TO LOOK UP CEMETERY RECORDS (Y/N) PHOTOS ON WEBSITE? (Y/N) (If yes please provide link) NAME E-MAIL ADDY *WILLING TO ASSIST IN TRANSCRIBING CEMETERIES NOT YET DONE (Y/N)* If there are multiple cemeteries in the same county and township, they can be listed together, as long as they are clearly separated (We prefer not to guess or do additional lookups... please save us some time and energy!!!). Please don't batch them all under one county if you don't know the township. Please take the time to look this up for us (easiest way: http://www.geneofun.on.ca/ontariolocator/index.html) If there are several, please feel free to put these 'questions' in a spreadsheet (excel preferred), enter your answers and send it along. (ATTACHMENTS CANNOT BE ACCEPTED BY THE MAILING LIST) We thank you all in advance for your time, cooperation and willingness to help out others. Without the volunteers, this wouldn't be possible. Best wishes to all and thank you again, Offering cyber coffee to all researchers!!! :) (Sheila & Jan)

Does anyone have access to transcriptions for Bowmanville Cemetery, or even the Ontario Archives film No.? I am looking for any and all LAURIE/LAWRIE's, quite a number buried in Bowmanville. Any help would be much appreciated. I can order the film from OA on inter-library loan but can't seem to find the film no. on the OA web site. Thanks Anne Stevens Ne3wmarket, Ont.
I'm looking for the burial site of my GGG-grandparents, Joseph and Mary Jane BROUSE. In the 1871 census they were in Gloucester twp, Carelton county. Later they migrated to Walsh county, North Dakota. They went back to Canada at least once and then returned to ND. I believe Joseph again returned to Canada at some point and Mary remained in ND with her grown children. They are not buried in Walsh county, ND as far as I can tell. I'm hoping to find them in Ontario. They are not listed in the OCFA. The Joseph and Mary Brouse buried in South Gower cemetery are the grandparents of the Joseph Brouse I'm trying to find. Thank you very much for any help. Marcy

Hi If anyone has the transcripts for Mt. Hope Cemetery, Brantford I would appreciate a lookup for Mrs. ROUSE (First name might be Lucy and husband might be George Franklin or first name might be Lavinia and husband Charles). I have a copy of a newspaper article of her funeral from the Brantford Weekly Expositor dated Sept. 1, 1910 with no first name or husband or children listed. It says that "her funeral took place yesterday afternoon from the mother's residence, 163 Rawden street to Mt. Hope Cemetery." This is scanty information but any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
