Miss Louise Watters, who is soon to wed Attorney Robert H. Hudson of this city, was this afternoon the guest of honor at a beautiful kitchen shower given by Miss Mabel Hudson, the sister of the groom-elect, at the home of her aunt, Mrs. Robert Burland, at 240? Maple avenue, which was attended by a number of the girl friends of the popular bride-elect. The young lady guest showered Miss Watters with many useful and ornamental gifts and the afternoon was pleasantly spent. Refreshments were served and the dining room decorations were typical of the days of St. Valentine. Green smilax and red hears were hung from all corners of the room and in the center of the table red electric lights peeped forth from small bowers of greenery. Individual candle lights also illuminated the pretty scene and the entire decorative scheme deserved special mention.
