Our father went to heaven sent with all of our love and through the tears of our sadness for the loss of such a one we know in our hearts God, he stands by your son. Forever in our hearts, our beloved Robert passed away May 31, 1999 in Sacramento. A native of Portland, Oregon born Nov 6, 1923. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Dorothy, four children Deborah Rood Stafford of North Carolina, William Rood of Utah, Catherine Rood Frenc of Cool and Randall Rood of Oregon, 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He will be deeply missed. Memorial contributions can be made in his honor to the local cancer society or charity of your choice.
