She died Wednesday at Merithew Memorial Hospital. She was a credit department supervisor for 25 years at Tyrell Jewelers in Walnut Creek. The Oakland native attended Fremont High School and moved to Walnut Creek 25 years ago. Surviving are her daughter, Joanne Gillette of Martinez; sister Rose Dorn of Castro Valley; brother Art Warr of Hayward and three grandchildren.
