"Doc" Scheiber Article Text: Memorial services for Ernest L. "Doc" SCHEIBER, 66, of Shingle Springs will be 17 May at the Mother Lode Lyons Hall in Diamond Springs. Mr. SCHEIBER died of a heart attack 6 May. A native of Shingle Springs, the son of Irene and the late Clarence L. SCHEIBER, he ran the SCHEIBER ranch for more than 45 years. He was a descendant of pioneers who settled in the area in the 1850's. He served in the Air Force and also built and operated Ice House Resort from 1957 to 1974.
