METCALFE ranch at Coloma Tuesday evening and may have wiped out another historical link with the time of Sutter's Mill and gold discovery in 1848. The residence was occupied by Mr. and Mrs. J. STRELTENBERG and four children. Part of the residence had been built with timber from Sutter's Mill. The Peter L. WIMMER family with whom MARSHALL boarded, is known to have lived in the old original part of the building.
