McKENZIE, who passed away at her home here at an early hour on Sunday morning, were held from the Presbyterian church at ten o'clock. Rev. PATTERSON of this city officiated and scores of friends and acquaintences of the esteemed matron gathered to pay their last respects to her memory. Mrs. McKENZIE had been a resident of this city for many years. She had always been active in church work and took a keen interest in all civic activities. Several months ago she was stricken ill and gradually declined until the end came early on Sunday morning. The immediate cause of death was said to be a heart disorder. The deceased was a native of Canada, 53 years of age. Besides her husband she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Robert KEMP of Martinez, Misses Olive, Elizabeth and Mary McKENZIE. She was a sister-in-law of Judge A.B. McKENZIE of Martinez. Following the services at the church on Tuesday morning the remains were conveyed to Live Oak Cemetery for interment. The pallbearers were; F.C. GALINDO, H.H. ELWORTHY, E.J. RANDALL, P.M. SOTO, J.O.
