In the covered wagon party were his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Parker GERMAIN, Guy GERMAIN, his older brother, Dwight, and younger sister Clara who died a few years ago. He had made his home in Ygnacio Valley, at the POTWIN ranch, since 1893 withhis sister, Miss Jane GERMAIN, who was born after the family arrived at Placerville. From Placerville the family moved to Pacheco in 1860. They lived there several years and then moved to San Leandro. A few years later they moved to Oakland, where they operated a dairy farm covering five city blocks, located at Loren Station on Adeline Street, GERMAIN is also survived by a brother, Harry, of San Francisco and niece, Mrs. THOMPSON, wife of the principal of Alameda High School. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m., at the Guy Funeral Home in Concord, Rev. Robert SHATTUCK will officiate.
