BOWEN, for several years employed by the Oakland Transit Company as a flagman, at thirteenth and Washington Streets, dropped dead in the rear of his home, 312 Third Street, last Saturday midnight. His death was due to apoplexy, for which he had been under treatment for some months. Deceased was anative of Chester, New Jersey, 73 years old. He was a member of Live Oak Lodge F. & A.
