Mr. GREER, a resident of San Francisco, died Thursday (26 June 1975), he was 72. Mr. GREER began his P.G. & E. career in 1922 as a gas construction mechanic. While working his way up professionally, he was also active in numerous civic and fraternal organizations. He served as president of the Executives Association, Lions Club and Electric Club of San Francisco and the Sacramento Chamber of Commerce. He also served on the board of the Salvation Army, and was a member of several other groups. Survivors include his wife Marjorie )Loetta BROWN) GREER of San Francisco and two daughters Beverlee (Ruth GREER) van der Mersch of Monterrey, Mexico and Patricia (Jane GREER) MARTELLO of Sacramento. He is also survived by six grandchildren. Funeral arrangements were handled by thr Comisky-Roche Funeral Home, Delores and 16th Streets (San Francisco). The family prefers donations to the American Cancer Society or the Salvation Army. Note: W.L.
