Rough, 64, Pittsburg city treasurer, died early today in a Pittsburg hospital after being stricken with a heart attack yesterday morning. Rough had been city treasurer there for the past 20 years. He was born in Stewartsville, south of Pittsburg, and was treasurer of the Redwood Manufacturing company in Pittsburg before he was elected city treasurer. He was a member of Pittsburg Masonic lodge, Sciots and other organizations. Survivors include two brothers, Ben E. Rough, Pittsburg city building inspector, Hannibal Rough of Texas; two half-brothers, William Jones of Pittsburg and Albert Jones of Dinuba and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Jacobs of San Francisco.
