W. Easton Joseph Wendell Easton, 40, 122 Eighth street, Antioch, died at 12:30 p.m. today at the Antioch hospital following a stroke. Mr. Easton was stricken about 9:30 this morning at his home. He was rushed to the hospital but efforts to save his life were of no avail. Surviving are his wife, Lillian, a daughter, Hazel, who is a student at Antioch high school and a sister Mrs. Joe Mello of Antioch. His death was a blow to the family which has had two previous deaths recently. His sister, Mrs. Susie Faria, passed away last May, and his brother, William Easton perished in a tragic fire at his home on F street in September 1938.
