The funeral rites will be conducted by Rev Clarence Reed, pastor of the church, assisted by Rev Charles W Wendte, former pastor and close personal friend of Irish. John P Irish Jr arrived from his ranch in San Joaquin county yesterday to assist in final arrangements for his father's funeral. Irish, one of the best known orators and writers in California, died Saturday night in Merritt Hospital, never recovering consciousness after a fall at Thirteenth and Franklin streets in the afternoon. He was 80 years old. He was a prominent figure in political circles. Tribute to the memory of Colonel Irish was offered yesterday by Rabbi Rudolph I Coffee, rabbi of Temple Sinai.
