Ernest CARMEN has been killed in action over Italy. CARMEN, 24, pilot in the Army Air Corps, enlisted two and a half years ago and has been overseas the past six months. A graduate of Lassen Union High School, Lt. CARMEN was married in 1942 and leaves a wife and a 10 month old son, who reside in Santa Barbara.
