Seeking info on: Miller COOLEY. He went overland from MO to CA in 1849 to look for Gold. He did well & returned to MO in about a year with gold bars. Return route: Took a boat from San Francisco to the Ismus. Walked across Ismus and took a boat to New Orleans. Two that probably traveled with him were Gideon Coleman Hill and Daniel Nodding Hill.
