I am seeking information on my ancestor William Martin who was a miner in Placer County. I gather that I will have to go and search the records myself to find information on him. He died about 1925 and is buried somewhere in Placer County. William was born in Pennsylvania and came to California after the Civil War. He wrote that he had a gold mine and needed someone to help him with it. I do not believe he was married, but his obituary was probably in one of the Newspapers. Anita L. Wills alani2@worldnet.att.net
