    3. Dear Sandra: Thanks for your response. The only mention of Adelaide is from the Ione Cemetery list of Coombs buried there, and it gives her dates as 1838-1907. Also spotted a Cora Coombs 1866-1929 with no mention of any family relationship(s). I have not been able to get to the FHC for many months to look at the 1900 census since learning of these possible Coombs relatives. Think our FHC (Nevada City) is closed until 2nd week of Jan 2000, but I'll try calling tomorrow (30 Dec) to see if the 1900 Amador County census is still on file up there. Thanks for your help!
