I am have never been to Sacramento CA, and dont know if my health will ever allow it. I am looking for history books that have photo's of the area of the city of Sacramento and the river area for J street in town, that goes down to the river. For the years of abt. 1845-1850. Could some one recommend some titles and author's that I may be able to borrow through interlibrary loan. I am curious as to what the area looks like, where my family lived so many years ago.
