Looked at the Sacramento Bee index and I could not find births in 1857, 1859 or 1864 nor Michael's death listed but there is a birth, Dowling, daughter born 23 March 1865 appeared in 3 Apr 1865 edition of the Bee It's entirely possible that the Bee didn't pick up Trinity happenings because the other three don't appear but maybe by 1865 they had extended their geographic coverage.
