Greetings, I am new to the list and am working on my EMERY family history. My great-grandfather's brother, William EMERY, and his wife Eliza GREEN moved to California with their three children Charlie, Rose, and George in the late 1800s. William owned and operated the Duchess Mine. I have some wonderful letters sent by William to my ggrandfather over a couse of many years which provide some detail about the running of the mine. Unfortunately the mine never succeeded. I am most interested in connecting with William's descendants through his son George. I've learned that George had a daughter Ellenore who married a man named MUSANTI. At one time in the early 1970s this family lived in the Burlingame, CA area. If anyone else is interested in this particular mine I am happy to share information.
